Workshop: Imagi-Nation: A 2-Day Fiction Writing Intensive

  • How do you create fascinating characters?
  • How do you build tension, conflict and effective pacing?
  • What are the elements of an interesting plot?

Successful stories are built on a foundation as logical as the most satisfying architecture. Good fiction is the result of a coherent vision of your story, and the relationship between characters and action.  In this workshop you will learn how to write a story that readers will never forget.

How to Apply:
Submit a double-spaced, 12pt font-writing sample of up to 15 pages of a fiction narrative along with a cover page. Cover page should include:

  • Your first and last name
  • Address
  • Phone Number (day and evening)
  • Email address
  • Date of workshop you are applying for

Alumni of previous workshops Tuition: $270

Tuition is due upon receipt of your acceptance letter. Payments may be paid by certified check, money order, or online.  Details about how to make payments will be included in the acceptance letter.

Cancellation Policy: If enrollees are unable to attend the workshop, a course credit will be issued to be used for the same class at a later date. If the workshop leader cancels the workshop, the class will be rescheduled.
